PORTABLE AMMONIA GENERATOR GEA-01
Patented ammonia generator GEA-01 is a unique instrument designed for calibrating portable and fixed ammonia detectors. Generator operation is based on the dynamic dilution of ammonia vapor with cleaned ambient air and direct measuring the ammonia concentration in the gas mixture. As the source of ammonia vapor the aqua ammonia is used. Ammonia concentration is determined by dilution conditions and by concentration of ammonia in the aqua solution. Generator uses built-in photoionization detector to measure ammonia concentration in air. The measured concentration value (mg/m3) is shown at the indicator.
Direct measurement of the ammonia concentration in calibrating mixture displaces the control of parameters of generator operation (including special control of the temperature, flow-rates, dilution coefficient and ammonia content in aqua ammonia). Due to novel patented method of dilution used in the generator the concentration of ammonia in gas mixture can be changed continuously in wide range.
The new version of ammonia generator having automatic set up of concentration of ammonia in gas mixture and automatic maintenance of preset value is now preparing for manufacturing by CHROMDET in cooperation with USA company Advanced Calibration Design, Inc.
